Shiva is a Hindu deity of whom is aligned to the energies of Destruction, Yoga and Meditation. He is often depicted as man with a crescent moon in his hair, a closed third-eye in the centre of his forehead, a cobra around his neck, a white bull by his side and four arms in various poses with one holding a Trident.
As he is known to be aligned to the energy of Destruction, Shiva is a great being to call upon for letting go of that which no longer serves one’s highest good. He uses his Third-Eye to look upon all that is to be released and it lets loose a beam of lightning that destroys all that is not pure. He then uses his trident to seal the energy so it cannot come back once it is released.
Whilst Shiva has an association with Destruction, he also has a connection to that of peaceful Meditation. He can help anyone and everyone who asks him for help with Meditation as Shiva can clear all distracting energies and thoughts from the surrounds and the energy field too. Shiva can also clear the energy in a Meditation Space prior to meditation by using his Cobra and Bull to go through and literally clear out the energy.
Clearing the energy with Shiva and his animals can be very useful for a Yoga Space too. But Shiva’s help does not stop there. He is very adept at Yoga and can help anyone who asks for his help in this area. He helps by encouraging the person through poses and can gently shift the energy of the body to suit each pose. In this he is especially gentle.
Whilst Shiva holds each of his roles close to his heart, he respects everyone’s Free Will and as such will not act unless one asks for the help. As such, a prayer is an ideal way to ask for his and God’s help. An example of a prayer that can be utilised is:
‘Dearest God and Shiva, I ask that you help me release all that is not for my highest of good so I may meditate and connect with the Heaven’s so I may be aligned with all that is for my highest good. For this, I give thanks. Amen.’
A simple, yet very effective in bringing forth their assistance and help. Though it is very important to always remember to give thanks for all that they do.
With such help being bestowed upon anyone and everyone from God and Shiva, it is easy to see that anyone and everyone can be free of that which is holding them back from being aligned to their highest of good. It is also good to stop every now and then and give thanks to God and Shiva for all the help they give.
